Hamidia College Building Portion Collapses, No Injuries Reported

A section of the old Hamidia College building in Bhopal fell down on Monday.

Luckily, no one got hurt.

The principal said he had walked through the area just minutes before the collapse.

The college had asked for repairs before, but nothing was done.

This collapse makes the space crunch at the college worse because classrooms near the damaged area can't be used.

The college is also a Prime Minister Excellence College.

Another part of the college collapsed seven years ago.

Despite promises to build new classrooms, nothing happened.

The collapsed corridor was important for students and staff.
