Thane Court Acquits Man in Traffic Cop Assault Case

Thane Court Acquits Man in Traffic Cop Assault Case

Imagine a man was accused of hitting and yelling at a police officer who was giving him a ticket for not wearing a helmet.

The police said he did it.

But when the case went to court, the judge looked at the evidence.

The officer who said he was hit didn't really say he was hit hard, just that he was yelled at.

Another person said he saw the man slap the officer, but that didn't match what the officer said.

Also, the police didn't give the man a ticket for the helmet rule, and they lost the picture they took.

Because the stories didn't match and there wasn't enough clear proof, the judge decided the man was not guilty and let him go.

This means the police had to show strong proof that he did something wrong, and they couldn't.
