Delhi Police Bust International Cyber Fraud Syndicate
The Delhi Police found and stopped a big group of criminals who were tricking people all over India.
These criminals pretended to be police officers and told people they were in trouble for things they didn't do.
They used special machines to make their phone calls look like they were coming from India, even though they were actually calling from other countries.
The police caught some of the people involved, including a man from Taiwan who was in charge of the machines.
They also found out that this group was getting help from people in other countries like Cambodia, Pakistan, and Nepal.
The police are still looking for more people who might be involved.
Delhi Police dismantled an international cyber fraud syndicate using SIMBOX systems to commit 'digital arrests'.
The syndicate impersonated Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) officers to extort money from victims across India.
The criminals used advanced telecom manipulation techniques to evade detection, including routing calls over 2G networks and using Pakistani-origin IMEI numbers.
The police arrested a Taiwanese national, I-Tsung Chen, who was the principal operational backbone of the syndicate.
The syndicate was part of a larger international network with operations in Cambodia, Taiwan, Nepal, and Pakistan.
