To show how angry they were, they took down big posters of the actress from outside a clothes store called Kasam Fashion.
The posters were part of a shopping promotion for the store.
The leaders burned the posters as a protest.
A leader named Kalpana said everyone can have their own opinions, but nobody should insult someone else's religion.
She asked the actress to explain her comments and to be more careful in the future.
