iPhone 18 Pro May See Largest Price Increase Yet
Apple is planning to release a new iPhone called the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
These phones might cost $250 to $300 more than the current iPhone 17 Pro.
The reason is that the new phone will use a very advanced chip that is expensive to make.
Other parts like memory and batteries are also more expensive because many companies are building AI hardware.
The new iPhone will keep the same screen sizes but will have a smaller Dynamic Island, brighter screens, better battery life, and a new camera that can change its focus more easily.
The big phone, the Pro Max, may have a bigger battery and a faster modem.
Apple plans to launch the phones in September.
Apple’s next flagship iPhones, iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, may cost $250–$300 more than the current iPhone 17 Pro lineup.
The price hike is attributed to higher manufacturing costs, especially the new TSMC 2nm A20 processor.
Rising DRAM, NAND, and component prices amid AI infrastructure boom also contribute to cost increases.
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to keep 6.3‑inch and 6.9‑inch displays but add a smaller Dynamic Island, brighter LTPO+ OLED panels, and improved battery life.
Camera upgrades include a variable‑aperture main lens, and the Pro Max may feature a larger battery and next‑gen C2 modem.
