Dell Revives XPS Branding with New Models
Dell, a big computer company, made a change last year.
They stopped using the names XPS and Inspiron for their laptops.
Instead, they used simpler names like Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Max.
But after a year, they realized that customers missed the old names.
So, at a big tech event called CES 2026 in New York, Dell brought back the XPS name.
They also showed off two new laptops, the XPS 14 and XPS 16.
These new laptops are lighter and faster than the ones they replaced.
The person in charge of Dell's laptop business, Jeff Clarke, said they got off track and that customers were right about the branding.
Dell is reviving the XPS branding after a year of simplified naming.
New XPS 14 and XPS 16 models were unveiled at CES 2026 in New York.
The new models are lighter and faster than the previous Dell 14 Premium and 16 Premium.
Dell COO Jeff Clarke admitted the company 'got off course' with the branding change.
Customer feedback played a significant role in the decision to revert to the XPS name.
