Stock Markets Closed on Christmas
Today is Christmas, and many important markets in India are closed.
The BSE and NSE, which are places where people buy and sell stocks, are not open for trading.
Also, the MCX and NCDEX, which are markets for things like gold, oil, and farm products, are closed.
Even the currency market, where people trade money, is not working today.
This is because Christmas is a holiday.
Yesterday, the stock markets had a small drop, but today they are not open.
They will start again tomorrow.
BSE and NSE are closed on December 25 for Christmas.
Commodity markets MCX and NCDEX are also shut.
Currency market trading is suspended for the day.
Markets will reopen on Friday, December 26.
