Supreme Court Urges Delhi Police to Protect Women

The Supreme Court discussed how some women do not feel safe in parts of Delhi and nearby areas.

The judges told Delhi Police to do more to protect them.

They asked police to watch and patrol places where women may be more vulnerable.

These places include bus stands, railway and metro stations, parks, schools and colleges.

The judges said women should be able to travel safely even late at night.

The discussion was part of a court case about recent rape incidents in Delhi NCR.

The court also said the government and other people involved should work together to stop crimes against women from happening again.
