Minister Meets Artistes, Pledges Support to Regional Cinema
Imagine a group of movie makers in a state, like the ones who make films in Nagpuri.
They went to talk to the person in charge of art and culture in their state.
They asked for help to show their movies more often, maybe even in the buildings where everyone votes!
They also wanted to make sure the people who help make movies get support, like better financial aid and making sure the rules for film production are good.
The minister listened and said he would consider the ideas, which gives hope to the artists that things will improve.
Minister Sudivya Kumar met with regional artists to discuss support for the state's film industry.
The Jharkhand Kalakar Andolan Sangharsh Samiti (JKASS) submitted a list of demands to the minister.
Key demands included mandatory screenings of Jharkhandi-language films and restructuring of JFDCL.
Artists expressed concerns over limited screenings and the impact on audience reach.
