Mahindra & Mahindra Q1FY27 Profit and Revenue Surge
Mahindra & Mahindra, an Indian car maker, made more money in the first quarter of 2027 than it did the year before.
Its total profit went up by about a third, and its sales grew by more than a quarter.
The company also earned more from its own cars, especially SUVs like the Scorpio and Thar.
It raised prices in April, but people still bought its cars.
The government lowered taxes on tractors, which helped the company sell more farm vehicles and made that part of the business grow too.
Net profit rose 33.58% YoY to Rs 5,454.54 crore.
Revenue increased 26.63% YoY to Rs 57,533.44 crore.
Standalone profit grew 7% to Rs 3,685 crore, revenue up 23%.
April price hikes on SUVs and commercial vehicles did not hurt demand.
Government tax cuts boosted tractor sales, raising farm segment revenue to Rs 10,947 crore.
