NSE's Q2FY26 Results Show Revenue Dip, Regulatory Provisions

The National Stock Exchange, which runs India's biggest stock market, released its financial results for the second quarter.

They made less money from trading fees because fewer people were trading stocks and options compared to the last quarter.

This drop in trading volume is partly because a government agency, SEBI, is trying to reduce risky trading.

The NSE also put aside a large amount of money, over Rs 1,200 crore, to help settle some ongoing issues with SEBI.

Despite the revenue dip, the NSE still holds a very large share of the market in most trading areas, like stocks and futures.
