Six killed, 17 injured as Telangana electric bus hits truck
A private electric bus crashed into a truck in Telangana early Wednesday morning.
The bus was traveling from Hyderabad to Eluru in Andhra Pradesh.
It was carrying 44 passengers.
Six people died, including five women.
Seventeen others were hurt.
The truck had large iron pillars used in factories.
The pillars struck the right side of the bus after the truck hit a road divider.
Police are investigating and think speeding may have caused the crash.

The crash occurred around 5 a.m. on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway in Kodad mandal.
