Former SCBA President Urges Gandhi to Cancel Supreme Court March

Opposition leaders plan to march to the Supreme Court on October 12.

They want to give the Chief Justice a letter asking for the chief election official to resign.

A former leader of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Adish C. Aggarwala, asked Rahul Gandhi to cancel the march.

Aggarwala said it could put political pressure on the courts.

He also said the Chief Justice cannot order the election official to resign.

He believes complaints about the Election Commission should be handled through court cases, not a political letter.

He urged the opposition to keep the Chief Justice's office out of political disputes.
