Maharashtra Local Body Elections Amid Political Tensions
Maharashtra is having elections for local government positions.
There are two main groups: one led by the BJP and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, and the other led by Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena, Sharad Pawar's NCP, and the Congress.
Over 1 crore people will vote at many polling stations.
Some elections were delayed because of problems with the candidate lists.
There are arguments between the groups, with some saying the other side is not being fair.

Political tensions are high, with allegations of voter bribery and public disputes between allies BJP and Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
An FIR was filed against Shiv Sena (Shinde) MLA Nilesh Rane for allegedly trespassing and finding cash meant for voter bribery.
