Fire at Delhi scrap plot kills 2, injures 3
A big fire happened at a place where people store old cardboard and boxes in Delhi.
The fire started early in the morning and spread very quickly because the materials were very easy to catch fire.
Two people died, and three others got hurt.
They were all from a place called Nalanda in Bihar and lived in small tin sheds at the storage place.
The fire fighters worked hard to put out the fire, and the hurt people were taken to a nearby hospital.
The police are still trying to find out what caused the fire.
A fire broke out at a vacant plot storing scrap cardboard and cartons in Pitampura, outer Delhi, killing two and injuring three.
The fire spread rapidly due to the presence of highly inflammable material, and nine fire tenders were used to control it.
The injured were taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial (BJRM) Hospital in Jahangirpuri, where two were declared dead on arrival.
All five individuals involved were residents of Nalanda district in Bihar and were engaged in collecting and selling scrap.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, with the crime team and forensic science laboratory (FSL) team collecting samples.
