IPO Rush: Five Mainboard Issues, Three SMEs Open This Week

An IPO is when a company sells small pieces of itself to the public to raise money.

Next week in India, many companies will do this at the same time.

Five big companies - Molbio Diagnostics, Dhoot Transmission, Milky Mist Dairy Food, Shiprocket and Behari Lal Engineering - will open their offers to buyers.

Three smaller companies will also invite bids.

People can invest with amounts starting near fourteen to fifteen thousand rupees.

The biggest offer is from Dhoot Transmission, which wants to raise about three thousand crore rupees.

Eight companies that already sold shares will also start trading on the stock exchange for the first time.

The main stock exchanges in India are the NSE and the BSE.

This makes it a very busy week for people who watch stocks.

Buyers must watch the bidding dates carefully so they do not miss their chance to get shares.
