India, West Indies Fined for Slow Over-Rates in Third ODI

India and West Indies played the final match of their ODI cricket series in New Chandigarh.

The match took more than nine hours.

The ICC said both teams bowled their overs too slowly.

India was found to be four overs behind the required rate, and West Indies was two overs behind after time allowances.

India's players were fined 20% of their match fees, while West Indies' players were fined 10%.

Both captains accepted the penalties.

West Indies won the match by chasing a target of 352 runs.

India had already won the series, but West Indies' victory stopped India from winning all three matches.
