High Court Orders Inquiry Into KPHB Custodial Torture Allegations
The Telangana High Court is examining claims that police officers hurt and illegally held a healthcare worker.
The man says officers wanted him to confess to taking a 17-year-old girl.
He says they threatened him and later made him an accused in the case.
He also says he received medical treatment after being released.
The court has ordered the Cyberabad police commissioner to investigate these claims.

His lawyer sought a magisterial inquiry, compensation of Rs 15 lakh and transfer of the criminal investigation to a senior officer from another commissionerate.
