Ram Kapoor Recalls 140-Kilogram Struggle and Repeated Weight Loss Journey

Ram Kapoor said he became very unhealthy while working long hours on television.

At one point, he weighed 140 kilograms and could not walk 20 steps without resting.

He said he had problems with blood sugar and blood pressure.

A doctor warned him that continuing this way could be dangerous and might cause a stroke.

Kapoor said he lost 30 kilograms twice because he regained the weight after his first attempt.

He later reported losing 55 kilograms over 18 months.

He said he did not use weight-loss medicine or surgery for his transformation.

He also said medicines such as Ozempic and Mounjaro can be useful when prescribed by a doctor.
