Iran’s Mahan Air Loses Turkey and Oman Routes Amid Sanctions

Mahan Air is an Iranian airline.

It said it would stop flying to Turkey and Oman.

The airline said those countries requested the suspensions.

Losing these routes is a major problem for the airline.

Mahan Air was sanctioned in 2011.

The sanctions were linked to allegations that it transported people and weapons for Iran’s military.

Sanctions have also made it harder for Iran to maintain its airplanes.

Many commercial airplanes need parts made in the United States.
