Fatehpur Pioneers AI-Driven Child Vaccination Monitoring in UP
Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh has started a special project to make sure all children get their vaccines.
They use a smart app with AI to keep track of vaccinations.
The app sends messages to parents about when and where to get vaccines.
It also helps health workers know which children still need vaccines.
The project started in one area called Hathgam and has already helped increase vaccinations there.
The goal is to make sure no child misses important vaccines in their first year.
The app was made by the District Magistrate with help from the health department and the World Health Organization.
It uses special technology to make sure all the information is correct and up-to-date.
Fatehpur district in Uttar Pradesh has introduced an AI-based Smart Vaccination Tracking System for child immunization.
The system was piloted in the Hathgam block and has increased vaccination coverage to 95%.
The app sends WhatsApp notifications to parents about vaccination schedules and nearby VHND sessions.
The system uses AI for real-time monitoring, identifying low-coverage areas, and sending automatic reminders to mothers.
A dedicated mobile app for ANMs provides a real-time due list and uses OCR technology to update vaccination status.
