Greenland Prepares Crisis Guidelines Amid Trump Threats
Greenland has made a special booklet to help people prepare for emergencies.
This includes having enough food and water for five days, and weapons for hunting.
The booklet was made because of power outages, but also because the US President, Donald Trump, has said he wants to take control of Greenland.
Most people in Greenland don't want this, and their leaders say they are ready if something happens.
Trump says he won't use force, but wants to talk about it.
Greenland is a big island with a small population, and most people there are Inuit.
Greenland released a crisis preparedness brochure advising residents to stockpile food, water, and hunting weapons.
The brochure was created in response to power outages and potential crises, including threats from US President Donald Trump.
Trump has repeatedly expressed interest in acquiring Greenland but has stated he won't use military force.
85% of Greenlanders oppose joining the United States, with only 6% in favor.
Greenland's government considers the brochure an 'insurance policy' and does not expect to use it.
