GVMC Launches STEP-UP for Student Empowerment

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) organized a special trip for students from GVMC Primary and High School in Prakasaraopeta.

This trip was part of a program called STEP-UP, which helps students learn important life skills.

Students from Classes VIII and IX visited a bank to learn about banking.

They saw how money is handled, how accounts work, and how digital banking is done.

Later, they went to the Zilla Parishad office to learn about how the government runs its programs and manages money.

Meanwhile, 10th Class students visited the post office to learn about mailing letters, saving money, and other services.

Officials from the bank, post office, and GVMC were there to help the students understand these important topics.

The goal of the program is to give students a better understanding of the real world and help them become more confident and skilled.
