Yogi Cabinet Approves ₹265 Crore Lucknow Bus Terminal

Uttar Pradesh’s Cabinet approved a plan to build a new bus terminal in Lucknow.

It will be in Vrindavan Yojana and will cost about ₹265 crore, not counting the land.

The terminal is meant to serve electric buses, including buses planned for the city.

It will have charging areas, bus parking and repair facilities.

Passengers will be able to use waiting lounges, ticket counters and luggage storage.

Shops, restaurants, medical stores and other services are also planned.

A private developer will build the project and operate and manage the terminal.

The developer must maintain the terminal for 35 years and the commercial facilities for 90 years.
