1,300 UP Workers Wait 14 Months for Israel Jobs
More than 1,300 workers from Uttar Pradesh in India have been waiting for over a year to go to Israel for jobs they were selected for.
They completed all the required tests and training, but they still haven't been sent.
This has caused financial problems for many of them and their families.
Some workers say they quit their local jobs hoping to go to Israel soon, but now they are struggling.
The government says they are still working on sending these workers and that more training is needed.
Meanwhile, private agencies are sending other workers to Israel for a lot of money, which has made the situation even more frustrating for those waiting.
1,383 workers from Uttar Pradesh selected for skilled construction jobs in Israel are waiting for deployment after 14 months.
Workers completed all mandatory requirements, including English tests, training, and interviews with Israeli employers.
The prolonged wait has caused financial hardship for many workers and their families.
Private agencies are reportedly sending laborers to Israel for up to ₹6 lakh, adding to the frustration.
The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Minister says discussions are ongoing and workers will be sent in phases after additional training.
