India and Nagpur Mark World Environment Day with Tree Planting, Awareness
Across India, people are celebrating World Environment Day!
Haryana is starting a new tree-planting project called 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0,' aiming to plant millions of trees across the country, just like they did last year, with the Prime Minister launching it.
The idea is to remember loved ones and plant trees in their names.
In Nagpur, the local government is hosting a rally to help stop plastic pollution and is also planting trees all over the city to make it greener.
This way, everyone is reminded to care for the environment!
Haryana launched 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0', aiming to plant 10 crore trees across India.
The initiative involves schools, residential associations, and corporate participation.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is hosting an awareness rally on 'Ending Plastic Pollution'.
