Direct Dharamshala-Chandigarh Flights Resume Four Days Weekly
A direct airplane route between Dharamshala and Chandigarh has started again.
IndiGo operates the flight from Gaggal Airport.
The first resumed flight left at about 2:05 pm on Tuesday.
The route had stopped earlier because bad weather made flying difficult.
Flights will now run four days each week.
Those days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
A ticket from Dharamshala to Chandigarh starts at about Rs 3,200.
Officials are also working on a possible direct flight between Gaggal and Jammu.
IndiGo resumed direct flights between Dharamshala and Chandigarh on Tuesday.
Flight 6E 7722 departed from Gaggal Airport at about 2:05 pm.
The service had previously been stopped because of bad weather in the hills.
Flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Preparations are underway for a proposed direct Gaggal-Jammu service, with formalities in progress.
