Jefferies Ups Bajaj Twins Price Targets, Cites Upside Potential
A financial company called Jefferies really likes two other companies, Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv.
They think these companies, nicknamed the 'Bajaj Twins', are doing well and could become much more valuable.
Jefferies increased the prices they think the stocks should be worth, suggesting one of them could go up by as much as 28%.
Even though Bajaj Finance lowered its own growth predictions a little bit because some business areas are slower, Jefferies still believes it's a good company to invest in for the future.
For Bajaj Finserv, Jefferies likes it because the price of its stock doesn't fully reflect the value of all its parts, making it a good deal.
Both Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv's insurance businesses are also showing positive signs in their growth and financial health.
Jefferies raised target prices for both Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv, maintaining 'Buy' ratings.
Bajaj Finance target price increased to Rs 1,270 (17% upside), with AUM growing 24% YoY.
Bajaj Finance lowered its FY26 growth guidance to 22-23% due to weaker SME and housing trends.
Bajaj Finserv target price increased to Rs 2,710 (28% upside), with its holding company discount making the risk-reward attractive.
Bajaj Finserv's insurance arms, Bajaj Allianz General and Life, reported premium growth and increased value of new business, respectively.
