Tu Meri Main Tera Opens Below Expectations

Tu Meri Main Tera, a new Bollywood rom-com starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, had a lower opening day collection than expected.

The movie collected between ₹7.25-7.50 crore in India on its first day, which is below the ₹10 crore mark, but reached ₹9-10 crore worldwide.

It faced tough competition from the blockbuster hit Dhurandhar, which has been dominating the box office.

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, crossed ₹1,000 crore worldwide and maintained strong occupancy rates.

Tu Meri Main Tera had relatively lower occupancy rates, filling 34-34.56% of seats across theaters, with night shows doing slightly better at 40.23%.

The movie is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Sameer Vidwans.

For Ananya Panday, this film is just below her top five highest-grossing movies, with Dream Girl 2 remaining her highest-grossing film so far.
