Mirae Asset Launches GIFT Sharekhan for Global Investing
Mirae Asset has started a new financial-services brand called Mirae Asset GIFT Sharekhan.
It is based in GIFT City, a financial center in Gujarat, India.
The company received permission to operate as a broker there.
At first, customers will be able to invest in US stocks and ETFs through a partner platform.
The company says it wants to help investors spread their money across different countries.
It also plans to help people living outside India invest in Indian markets.
The launch comes as more Indian investors seek opportunities in international markets.

The platform will initially provide access to US stocks and ETFs through a partner’s Global Access Platform.
Mirae Asset GIFT Sharekhan plans to offer global citizens access to Indian markets in the future.
