Alluri Sitarama Raju Airport to Boost Andhra Pradesh Economy

A new airport called Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport will open on August 1, 2024, in Visakhapatnam, a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The airport is expected to bring more jobs, help people travel easily, and make it easier for businesses to send and receive goods.

The state’s minister, Kolusu Parthasarathy, said the airport will help the region grow and become more connected to the rest of the world.

He also said that the new airport will be built with modern technology and will respect the local culture and the environment.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will lay the foundation stones for the airport and other projects worth about 17,912 crore rupees.

The minister believes this will bring a lot of new opportunities for people in the area.

He also criticized the previous government for not starting some projects, like a Google data centre, when they had promised to do so.

The new airport is seen as a big step toward making the region a hub for tourism, trade, and business.
