Puducherry Coach Assaulted Over Team Selection

A cricket coach in Puducherry was badly hurt by three players who were upset about not being picked for a big tournament.

The coach had to get 20 stitches on his head and his shoulder was broken.

The players said the coach was the reason they weren't chosen.

The coach blamed another person for telling the players to hurt him.

The cricket board is looking into what happened.

The group that supports local players says the coach has been mean to players before and has had problems in the past.

The cricket association didn't want to talk about it.
