Kanpur to Open Ultra-Modern Convention Centre in June
Kanpur is building a fancy new convention center, like a big meeting place, set to be ready in early June.
The Mayor checked on the construction and wants it done on time.
It's part of a big plan to help the city grow and will be run by the local government.
The centre will have spaces for exhibitions, conferences, and food.
The Mayor got the idea for this project when she saw a world-class convention facility during her visit to Gujarat four years ago.
The design is based on a lotus flower, symbolizing beauty, purity, and creativity.
