BRICS ministers to meet in New Delhi on sustainable future

A group of countries called BRICS is having a big meeting in New Delhi, the capital of India.

The people who take care of the environment will talk about how to protect nature together.

On August 17, some officials will meet first to prepare for the big meeting.

On August 18, the environment ministers from BRICS countries will have their main discussions.

A minister from India named Bhupender Yadav will lead the meeting.

The countries want to share ideas and learn from each other about taking care of the Earth.

They chose a theme about being strong, creative, cooperative, and sustainable.

Being sustainable means taking care of our planet so it stays healthy for many years.

The group started its environment talks back in 2015 in Moscow, Russia.

At this meeting, they hope to agree on how to work together for a better future.
