Odisha CM Majhi Slams Congress Over Modi-Meloni Remarks

Two leaders from a political group called the Congress made jokes about the leader of our country and the leader of Italy.

A chief minister from another group, the BJP, was not happy about that.

His name is Mohan Charan Majhi and he is the leader of the state of Odisha.

He said the jokes were irresponsible and unkind.

He said leaders should not make fun of friends from other countries.

He also said making jokes about a woman leader was not respectful.

Mr Majhi wrote about his feelings on social media on Friday.

He said the Congress leaders had lowered the standards of political talk.

He believes criticism should be fair but not hurtful.
