BJP Hails ABVP’s DUSU Victory as Rebuke to Rahul Gandhi
Students at Delhi University voted in their student-union election.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, or ABVP, won three of the four main positions.
It won president, secretary and joint secretary.
Independent candidate Deepanshu Shokeen won vice president.

They also called it a rejection of Rahul Gandhi and Congress politics.
These statements describe the BJP’s interpretation of the result, not an independently established reason for how students voted.
