Bitcoin Drops Below $86K Amid Market Volatility
Bitcoin, the biggest cryptocurrency, has dropped below $86,000.
This is the first time in two weeks it has been this low.
Experts say this is because big investors are selling their Bitcoin for profits, and there are worries about the economy in Japan and China.
Other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Dogecoin, and XRP have also dropped in price.
Some experts think Bitcoin could go even lower, maybe to $40,000, but others believe it will bounce back if it stays above $84,000.
The market is a bit scary right now, but some people are still buying Bitcoin when it's cheap.
Bitcoin dropped below $86,000, trading at $85,654.93, down 4.07% in 24 hours.
The market cap of Bitcoin fell to $1.7 trillion, with trading volumes down 8.76% to $43.69 billion.
Whale profit-taking of nearly $2.78 billion and expectations of a Bank of Japan rate hike pressured risk assets.
Ethereum, Dogecoin, and XRP each fell by 5%, with Ethereum trading at $2,933.91.
Experts warn Bitcoin could slide to $40,000, with a potential drawdown risk of 65-70%.
