Botcha Accuses Government of Avoiding DSC Irregularities Debate

Botcha Satyanarayana said the Andhra Pradesh government was avoiding questions about teacher recruitment.

He was talking about the DSC, an examination and recruitment process for teachers.

He said some appointments may have been made through a sports quota without the usual examination.

He questioned whether the rules allowing this were legally approved.

He also said 438 candidates were unsure about their future after changes to the order.

Botcha asked for an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation, or CBI.

He also wanted the Education Minister to resign and the Legislative Council to hold a full debate.

The government has said in newspaper statements that it is ready for anything, according to Botcha’s remarks.

The YSRCP said it would continue raising the issue.
