5-year-old drowns in open drain near GIFT City
A 5-year-old boy named Harsh Rajkumar Ram fell into a deep, open drain while playing with his friends near GIFT City in Gandhinagar.
The drain was about 10 feet deep.
A fire services worker tried to save him by climbing down with a rope, but the boy was taken to the hospital where doctors tried to help him with CPR.
Sadly, they couldn't save his life.
The boy's parents are from Jharkhand and live nearby.
Police are investigating how this happened.
