Bengaluru: Two Separate Incidents of Harassment Reported in 24 Hours
In Bengaluru, two worrying events happened recently involving women.
On November 10, a young college student was walking home when a man on a scooter bothered her with whistling and rude gestures.
Later, on November 9, a man allegedly broke into a differently-abled woman's home while she was alone.
The woman's mother came home and found the man hiding.
Police are investigating both incidents.
For the second incident, a man named Vignesh has been arrested and is suspected to have been using drugs.

An 18-year-old college student in Bengaluru reported being sexually harassed by an unidentified man on a scooter near CMH Signal, Indiranagar on November 10.
The accused allegedly whistled, made obscene gestures, and followed the student before speeding away.
A separate incident occurred on November 9 in Adugodi where a man, Vignesh alias Daadu, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a mentally challenged woman in her home.
Police suspect Vignesh was under the influence of narcotic substances during the Adugodi incident.
Cases have been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for both incidents as investigations continue to identify and apprehend all involved parties.
