Woman Falls Into Tel River While Taking Selfie in Odisha

A young woman went to visit a temple with two of her friends.

On the way back, she stopped on a bridge to take a selfie.

While she was taking the photo, she felt dizzy and lost her balance.

She fell from the bridge into the Tel river below.

That is a very big drop - almost 70 feet.

A local young man saw what happened and tried to help her, but he could not reach her.

He called the authorities for help.

Firefighters came to the spot and worked hard to pull her out of the water.

The woman was taken to a health centre and is now safe and stable.

This story reminds us to be very careful near rivers and bridges and not to take risky selfies.
