Karnataka Football Talent Hunt: Trials Begin Across 12 Regions
A company called India Khelo Football is working with Karnataka's football association (KSFA) to find new football talent across the whole state.
They started holding scouting trials in the city of Davangere.
Soon, trials will also happen in 11 more areas, like Mysuru, Belagavi, Udupi and Kalaburagi.
For a long time, most chances to be spotted, trained and play professionally were only in Bengaluru, the big city.
These trials bring organised scouting to smaller towns, so more kids get a fair chance to be noticed.
The programme also wants to help girls play football through a special effort called Nari Shakti.
Some famous football clubs, like Bengaluru FC, support these trials.
The best players will be chosen to compete in the State Finals in Bengaluru.
Thousands of young footballers are expected to join, and registration is open at indiakhelofootball.com.
The Tyger IKF–KSFA Namma Karnataka Trials kicked off with the first scouting trial in Davangere, covering 12 regions across Karnataka.
The talent hunt is organised by India Khelo Football (IKF) with the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) and sponsored by Tyger Capital.
The programme aims to take structured scouting beyond Bengaluru to districts including Mysuru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Kodagu, Belagavi, Udupi, Shivamogga, Karwar and Kalaburagi.
Through IKF's Nari Shakti initiative, the trials seek to create greater access to structured training and competitive pathways for women footballers.
Supported by clubs like Bengaluru FC, the programme will culminate in State Finals in Bengaluru, with registrations open at indiakhelofootball.com/season6.
