Revanth Reddy Disputes Claims Over Section 22A Land

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy discussed land placed on Telangana’s Section 22A prohibited list.

He said only about 3.05 to 3.06 lakh acres involved disputes between private people and the government.

He said the much larger figure included forest, assigned and government land, as well as areas linked to water and irrigation.

These categories cannot normally be registered, according to his account.

The government is checking individual claims by examining revenue records.

Opposition parties BRS and BJP say the government’s figures are being presented differently.

Revanth Reddy asked Congress legislators to explain his figures during the Assembly debate.

He also discussed protests, caste census efforts and alleged voter deletions.

The article says he urged legislators to remain active during the Assembly session.
