Hyderabad Authorities Demolish Vacated 2BHK Houses in Bojjagutta
Some families in Bojjagutta Colony were moved to new government homes.
Their old homes became empty after the families left.
Officials then demolished about 60 of those houses on Saturday.
The demolition happened peacefully.
A total of 79 people had asked to move to homes in Kollur or Aminpur.
They were given those homes in July 2026.
Other families have been given 10 days to move out.
The government also plans to build new homes for about 200 Vivekanandanagar residents within 10 months.

Seventy-nine beneficiaries from three Bojjagutta colonies were granted houses in Kollur or Aminpur in July 2026.
The beneficiaries had originally received 2BHK houses in Aminpur-2 and Kollur-2 in 2017 and 2023.
Remaining families have 10 days to leave, while about 200 Vivekanandanagar residents await new construction planned within 10 months.
