Fadnavis: Mumbai Infrastructure is a Trailer, More to Come
Imagine Mumbai is getting a lot of new roads and bridges, and the leader of the state, CM Fadnavis, says that what we see now is just the beginning, like a preview before a big movie.
He talked about building tunnels, long sea bridges, and connecting places to a new big port and a third airport.

All districts will be connected to the Vadhvan Port, which is set to become a top global port, with a third airport planned there.
The state has ₹4 lakh crore worth of infrastructure projects ongoing in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with Maharashtra aiming for infrastructure leadership.
CM Fadnavis acknowledged financial pressures due to welfare schemes, noting Maharashtra's fiscal deficit has nearly doubled to ₹2 lakh crore for FY25.
