423 PMGSY Machines Lost in Manipur Crisis
A lot of big machines used to build roads in Manipur were lost during a crisis that started in May 2023.
These machines were part of a big government program called PMGSY, which helps build roads in rural areas.
The chief engineer of the program in Manipur said that they lost 423 machines, and it will cost a lot of money to replace them.
They have built many roads and connected almost all the small villages in Manipur.
But now, because of the crisis, many road projects are stuck, especially in the hilly areas.
The government is trying to fix this problem.
