Honnold Climbs Taipei 101 Without Ropes
Alex Honnold is a famous rock climber who climbed a very tall building in Taiwan called Taipei 101 without any ropes or safety gear.
He did this in front of a live audience and it was shown on Netflix.
The climb took him about 1 hour and 32 minutes.
He said he was paid around $500,000, but not as much as some other famous athletes.
He also said he would have done it for free if the building allowed him.
The climb was supposed to happen on Saturday, but it was moved to Sunday because of rain.
YouTuber MrBeast said he would have paid more than $500,000 for the same stunt.
Alex Honnold completed a free solo climb of Taipei 101 in 1 hour and 32 minutes.
The climb was live-streamed by Netflix with a 10-second delay.
Honnold mentioned his payment was around $500,000, which he considered 'embarrassingly small' compared to other athletes' earnings.
He stated he would have done the climb for free with the building's permission.
The climb was originally scheduled for Saturday but was postponed to Sunday due to rain.
