Rain clears, second day play resumes at Galle after delay

India and Sri Lanka are playing a cricket match called a Test match.

This is a very special game because it is India's 600th Test and the 50th Test at this stadium.

It kept raining, so the players could not play in the morning.

Finally the sun came out and the game started in the afternoon.

India did very well on the first day and scored lots of runs.

A player named Devdutt Padikkal made 131 runs without getting out, which is a century.

His teammate KL Rahul made 77 runs but had to stop because his arm hurt.

India is in a strong position, but Sri Lanka is hoping to take some quick wickets.

They will try to catch up and stop India from scoring too many more runs.
