Nepali women moved to Bengaluru, days later die by suicide

Two women from Nepal named Sirjana and Rita moved to a big city in India called Bengaluru to find work.

They were young, ages 22 and 23.

They had only been living there for about 15 days.

On Thursday morning, their bodies were found near a road called Jakkur Main Road.

The police in Bengaluru said that both women died by suicide.

The police are now trying to understand what happened and are checking phone records and talking to family members.

Rita's relative, who works as a helper in another part of the city, got worried when Rita did not come home on Wednesday night.

He tried to call her, but her phone was turned off.

At the time, he did not think anything was wrong because he assumed she may have stayed with friends.
