WBBSE President Reviews Madhyamik Exam Preparedness in Chinsurah
The head of the West Bengal school board met with local officials and teachers in a town called Chinsurah.
They talked about how ready they are for a big exam called Madhyamik, which starts on February 2, 2026.
They want to make sure everything runs smoothly and the students feel confident.
The number of students taking the exam is a little higher this year.
Even though some teachers are busy with other work, it won't stop the exam from happening.
They are keeping the same number of places for students to take the test.
WBBSE President Ramanuj Gangopadhyay chaired a meeting in Chinsurah to review Madhyamik examination preparedness.
The Madhyamik examination is scheduled to commence on February 2, 2026.
Preparations are largely unchanged from the previous year, focusing on coordination and a supportive environment for candidates.
Despite teachers being engaged in SIR work, it is not expected to hinder the examination's smooth conduct.
There will be an increase of approximately 2,000 candidates this year, with the number of examination centers remaining the same.
